Marianne J. Charles, Partner
Marianne J. Charles is a founding partner of Charles & Concilio, P.C., and has been practicing law in Connecticut since 1990. Attorney Charles is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in the State of Connecticut, New York and the U.S. District Court in Connecticut.
Attorney Charles handles all aspects of matrimonial and family law, including sophisticated financial matters, property division, spousal maintenance, child support, complex custody disputes, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and post judgment matters.
In addition to representing clients through various matrimonial matters, Attorney Charles is a certified mediator and has been appointed as Guardian Ad Litem and Attorney for Minor Children. Additionally, she has served as a Special Master to the Courts aiding in the settlement of high conflict divorce cases.
Attorney Charles enjoys giving back to the community by accepting appointments as a pro bono attorney on behalf of Connecticut Legal Services. Further, she is a member of the Connecticut and New York Bar Associations as well as Fairfield County and Greenwich Bar Associations.
Nicole Concilio, Partner
Nicole Rivieccio Concilio, a Partner in the firm’s North Haven office, is primarily a family law attorney who practices in the areas of divorce, custody, and visitation. Attorney Concilio also has experience representing individuals in matters of personal injury and is part of the court-appointed committee with regard to foreclosure matters.
Attorney Concilio graduated from Gettysburg College with a Bachelor of Science degree. While attending Gettysburg College, she interned at the United Nations as well as with the political talk show The McLaughlin Group in Washington, D.C. She received her Juris Doctorate from the Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2003, and has been with the Law Offices of Charles & Concilio since May 2007.
Attorney Concilio is an active member of the New Haven County Bar Association and the Connecticut Bar Association. She is a guardian ad litem, as well as a committee member of the Family Law Section.
Lisa Livia, Paralegal
Lisa is a paralegal at Charles & Concilio, P.C.’s Greenwich office. Lisa has been with the firm since 2020 and brings over twenty years of experience in family law. She has worked, and is knowledgeable, in all phases of all family law matters, including intake, assessing client needs, preparing and organizing relevant financial documentation and other data, and trial/hearing preparation. She has a talent for organization, a strong work ethic, and unsurpassed dedication to her job. Lisa’s presence in Charles & Concilio, LLC helps to assist the quality of work and client relations in the realm of family law litigation.
Cailean Ortiz, Legal Assistant
Cailean is a legal assistant at Charles & Concilio, LLC’s Greenwich office. Cailean has been with the firm since 2022 and has quickly become indispensable. She is currently working full-time at CBV, as well as obtaining her degree in Computer Science from Norwalk Community College and simultaneously earning her paralegal certificate from Fairfield University. She is organized, has phenomenal time management skills, and is warm and personable. Cailean’s computer skills keep our firm updated with the latest technology and keep both offices running offices smoothly.
